People aren’t going to change

Change what you can, accept what you can’t.  People aren’t going to change. I know that. So I accept it. However, I don’t have to accept people’s negative behavior. I don’t have to accept someone else projecting behaviors or attitudes at me. I wonder if it’s just me sometimes. I wonder if anyone else notices the things I do.  Anybody else notice how people will want to express “how they feel”. BUT they expect it to stop there. They expect to say what they want, when they want. They don’t care about or want to hear what the recipient has to say.  Well that is until you say something that they don’t like or you don’t pay attention to their nonsense. Attitude is a little thing that makes a HUGE difference. It is best to respond intelligently even to unintelligent treatment.

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. That negativity will drag you down.  Remember, it’s not the quantity of friends but the quality.   Life is a wonderfully insane journey that we never know when it will end. I have learned recently how precious my time really is. I have to say I have been extremely blessed in crossing paths with great people who accept me for who I am. Today I am exceedingly grateful for that. I am grateful to have peace in my life. However I am even more grateful to have people I can enjoy it with.
